# What is an Inspection code?

Some real estate agencies require an inspection code before you can apply for a property. The inspection code is a unique code given to applicants who have attended an inspection.

###### How to obtain the inspection code

1. **Attend** the scheduled inspection for the property.
2. The code will be most likely emailed to you via a **post inspection email**.
3. If you **did not** receive a code or the code is not working you will need to **contact** **the agency** who manages the property to ensure that you have the correct code.
